Labour lead Tories by 7%.

Is the Olympic feel-good factor starting to provide David Cameron with a much needed bounce?

That's the question on many lips tonight after the ICM "Wisdom Index" survey for tomorrow's Sunday Telegraphan showed the Labour lead at seven points.

More recently in other polls such as the regular You Gov surveys Labour's lead has been hovering around the nine to fourteen points mark.

Yet earlier this week Labour's lead fell to just one point with Boris Johnson as Tory Leader and a recent poll by bookies Ladbrokes showed that 71% of us want the London Mayor to be PM.

Not tonight though.

With Boris as leader the Tories would be up just one point with Labour down by the same one point meaning that Labour would still be five points in front.

ICM Research interviewed an online sample of 2,003 adults aged 18+ on 8-9th August 2012.

Interviews were conducted across the country and the results have been weighted to the profile of all adults.
