Uproar as Labour Councillors Refuse to Cross Picket Line.

SEEMS as though the unions have caused a bit more uproar than TBG anticipated today.

It's emerged that Labour councillors in Lincoln are REFUSING to do their job by walking across a union imposed picket line.

According to union barons speaking at a rally in Portsmouth the same can't be said of their comrades in the Hampshire city. This led to speaker after speaker at the Portsmouth rally laying into Ed Miliband as much as they were into David Cameron and Michael Gove.

And guess which leader got the biggest boos? Only poor Red Ed.

Lincoln MP Karl McCartney told TBG - "It is extremely regrettable that City of Lincoln councillors are not doing their job today. It's immensely disappointing and enormously disrespectful to the electorate."

Back in Portsmouth Deputy Lib Dems Group Leader Hugh Mason has himself refused to cross a picket line to a TBG mole but Milton councillor Will Purvis did.
