No.10 denies Boris revenge.

Number 10 Downing Street has today denied accusations that It will enact revenge on Boris Johnson, after the Mayor declared war on the Prime Minister over Heathrow expansion earlier this week.

Downing Street has been reported as saying - "We will see what happens the next time he comes around with the begging bowl. He might need us one day."

Some have taken from this that the Prime Minister may limit funds in future that Mayor Johnson receives for London.

It's clear that this is more than a battle for Heathrow but an actual leadership battle for the Conservative Party & country happening in the nations capital. Prime Minister Cameron has never been a fan of Boris, probably because he has always known what a threat he is to his own ambitions. Cameron will be looking to hush the puppy, fast.
