The public want to see immigration reduced more, less spent on welfare but there's a rise in the number who want total public spending to go up.
That's according to the latest
British Social Attitudes Report.
According to a snapshot of the report
75% of us want reduced immigration comparted to just 63% in 1995.
Only 28% want more welfare spending compared to 35% in 2008.
But surprisingly 36% of us want a rise in public spending despite the austerity compared to 31% in 2010.
