David Cameron will press ahead with boundary changes for the next election.
The Prime Minister called the plans to re-draw boundaries "sensible and fair" despite the fact that, according to Mike Smithson from politicalbetting.com, "even if the boundary changes go through Labour can still win more seats with 2.2% fewer votes than the Conservatives."
Smithson claims that losing the boundary changes makes a Conservative majority almost impossible, says that Labour could win the most seats at next election even if the Tories win 4% more votes, and that they could win a majority with a vote lead of just 3%.
However, hot on the heels from missing out on House of Lords refeorm the Lib Dems say that they will oppose the moves with Nick Clegg today saying that he will now be ordering his MPs to block the proposals.
