Epsom and Ewell Conservative Future have announced that the outgoing Chairman, Michael Rock, will speak at their regular monthly social this Friday.
'The Rock' may have a few choice words for candidates in this election and for CF overall looking ahead to the future. Michael will discuss the current Conservative-Liberal Democrat Government, the future for the Conservative Party, and what role the new Conservative Future Chairman and NEC will play in this.
Since taking over the Chairmanship from Mark Clarke in 2008, Rock has been largely credited with the transformation of Conservative Future to an effective campaigning entity; increasing involvement in national campaigns such as NO2ID, and laying the groundwork for successful activity during the recent General Election, Mayoral Election, and by-election victories in Crewe and Nantwich (2008) and Norwich North (2009).
Conservative Future has also seen membership increase by more than 30% to approximately 20,000 during his stewardship.
The event is open to all CF members, whether from the Epsom and Ewell constituency or further afield, and will take place on Friday 24th September from 20:00 at The Epsom Conservative Club, 39 Church Street, Epsom.
