Polls have closed for the Conservative Future national election this afternoon. The count will begin at 5pm and results will begin to roll in shortly after.
Deputy Membership Chair' candidate, Clare Hilley, has shown early signs of concern as many of her supporters did not receive ballot papers. Hilley stated: "Even if I am not successful tonight I would like to thank everyone for supporting me. I have had a great month meeting and speaking to members across the country."
It seems many CF members up and down the country didn't get a ballot, and were unable to cast their vote. One source told tBg: "We're worried that this disastrous state of affairs could let Cooper in the back door."
